Aromatherapy for the face. 

Facials are traditionally used solely for cosmetic purposes, to leave the face glowing and the participant looking more youthful. Here at The Oakwood Clinic where therapeutic massage is the healer, my aim is to provide much more than that.  Physical and emotional stress held within causes facial strain, headaches, neck ache, these are tackled by Facial Massage Therapy.

Deep cleansing and toning stimulates the skin which triggers the start of relaxation,  it is followed by an aromatherapy massage of the scalp, face, neck and shoulders designed to release stress and tension held by physical or emotional stress.  By allowing the mind and body to drift into restfulness this is the state required for internal healing and balance.

The aromatherapy facial products used are from Neal's Yard Remedies. The ingredients are chemical free, plant based, natural and organic.  These products will add their own positive benefits to your skin. A personal blend of essential oils can be added to the massage oil to make this treatment truly holistic.
